Sometimes when you go through day to day life struggles you just need the Word of God to stand. This word may come in a form of a single word, a well know verse or a scripture that speaks volume to your life. Here are a few that seem to help me get by.
SALVATION
Romans 10: 9 (NKJV)
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
LIFE
1 Corinthians 9: 26-27 (MSG)
26 I don't know about you, but I'm running hard for the finish line. I'm giving it everything I've got. No sloppy living for me! 27 I'm staying alert and in top condition. I'm not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself.
TEMPTATION
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)
13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
STRENGTH
Psalm 18: 2 (AMP)
2 The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower.
RESTORATION
Psalm 18: 20-24 (MSG)
20 God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him. When I got my act together, he gave me a fresh start. 21 Now I'm alert to God's ways; I don't take God for granted. 22 Every day I review the ways he works; I try not to miss a trick. 23 I feel put back together, and I'm watching my step. 24 God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.
Colossians 1: 17 (MSG)
17 He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment.
